Scholarships
A number of Scholarships, Fellowships and Free-ships are available for the M.A. students of the Dinesh Mody Institute for Numismatics and Archaeology.
Scholarships, etc for M. A. Part I
Some of them are:
- Ajay Goel Scholarship for a Female Student
The Scholarship consists of Rs. 24,000 (Rupees Twenty-Four Thousand only) for one year. It is awarded to a Female M.A. Part I student with weaker economic background. It is awarded to the Best Essay on a given aspect of Indian Numismatics.
The Scholarship is sponsored by Mr. Ajay Goel, Mumbai.
- 2. Shivlee Grant – I for Best Research Paper on “Coins and History of the Great Guptas”
The Grant consists of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) for one year. It is awarded to an M.A. Part I student and is awarded to the Best Research Paper on a given aspect of “Coins and History of the Great Guptas”.

- 3. Shivlee Grant – II for Best Research Paper on “Coins and History of the Great Guptas”
The Grant consists of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) for one year. It is awarded to an M.A. Part I student and is awarded to the Best Research Paper on a given aspect of “Coins and History of the Great Guptas”.

- 1. Shivlee Scholarship for Advanced Research in Gupta Numismatics
The Scholarship consists of Rs. 25,000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) for one year. It is awarded to an M.A. Part II student and is awarded to the best Advanced Research Paper on a given aspect of “Coinage of the Great Guptas”.
